And then there is this: a website selling sainthood! You, too, can become one of the 144,000 saved from the Tribes of Israel. But hurry – there are only 142,621 places left.
Amazing. Not that someone is actually doing this (I’m becoming more and more cynical every day), but that there are people actually buying it.

[B~ note: Ed G had a good point – we can keep up with the Tribes right here:
- Levi 321
- Joseph 214
- Reuben 145
- Zebulun 143
- Benjamin 112
- Judah 101
- Simeon 78
- Asher 77
- Issachar 68
- Gad 65
- Manasseh 54
- Naphtali 1
Check back often and see how your favorite Israel Tribe is doing.]

Wonders never cease. Who would buy this??

So it’s NOT a joke??
that’s just …..sad

Tell me that they haven’t made $34,406.05 so far … this is just incredible in a very sad way

I recently heard a comedian say that if there were only 144,000 slots in heaven and if that were the case, don’t you think they’d not want to share that too much by going door to door…wouldn’t want to jeopardize their slots!
I think I’ll stick with what my God says on the subject.

Interesting post, Bruce. The cool thing is you can go back to this site to see which tribes are “hot”. Right now the “Levi” and “Joseph” salvation deeds are selling fast. I better sign up my family now. I don’t want to hear my 12 year old daughter whining “No daddy, I won’t be saved if I have to get stuck with a Naphtali deed… that’s so uncool!”

Now, I would have expected Joseph to be the favorite.

My dad is Jewish…I really AM from the line of Levi! I guess I get my $24.95 waived…?

good grief!

This is hilarious!!!! Why can’t i think of these things!? remember the pet rock phenomenon?
Let’s see, 144,000 X 24.95= $3,592,800.00
This is better than the $1,000,000 web site.

i know i am late to respond to this, but does this not remind us of when the plenary indulgences were sold for a price and were what precipitated the Reformation??
(sorry, i guess i should think it’s funny, but i find it rather embarrassing that it would be *redone* when the premise failed so miserably before….)
(unless, of course, it was meant as a joke. in that case, i take it all back

No news in a while… hope this post finds you in great spirits. In case you were looking for an update — in the past month, 32 more individuals have purchased their salvation for $24.95. (What do I know, I was taught Jesus paid the price!).
The biggest news, of course, is the recent run on Naphtali deeds — accounting for over 70% of the new orders!

Miss you. Hope you are well.
